Publishing Manager

Our client is a leading B2B publisher based in North Yorkshire, they are now seeking a Publishing Manager to join their team in gorgeous rural offices.

The Publishing Manager will be responsible for the title management of existing publications alongside the development of new products - including market research, commissioning, and author management. This role will be integral in building relationships with editors and writers, building a network of writers to develop content for their publications. This role will also be responsible for production, including overseeing the typesetting of the publications however no prior experience of this is necessary.

The successful candidate will have a superb attention to detail, with fantastic communication skills and a passion for building strong relationships with authors, editors and writers. Strong interpersonal skills are a must, with an engaging, enthusiastic attitude. Experience in publishing would be an advantage but it is not essential.
