Publishing Manager| Home-Based | Part-time

Are you an experienced and commercial Publishing Professional with a background in Trade Non-Fiction project management? An amazing part-time opportunity for a Publishing Manager to join this exciting new publishing venture has arisen with a particular focus on wine and the wine world. This role would suit someone seeking 4.5 hours per day or a similar arrangement with one onsite (London) meeting per month.

You will manage a specialist direct to consumer list and work with an experienced remote team on the publishing programme. Helping to develop the print publishing programme you will have a solid background in managing publishing processes and budgets. You will have strong business and commercial acumen and support with strategic needs, improvement and performance.

You will have proven experience in trade non-fiction, be an effective communicator and show huge amounts of enthusiasm and motivation to make a real impact on this business. You will be comfortable in all aspects of commercial publishing and have demonstrable skills in:

·Editorial Project Management
·Team support and understanding the critical work flow
·Ability to create marketing content such as blogs and newsletters
·Commercial and legal acumen
·Digital and website backend management
·Understanding of sales and distribution
