Publishing Operations Support Manager
The Education division of a global publisher is looking for a Publishing Operations Support Manager on a temporary basis, (c. 4-6 months). This full-time role will offer hybrid working, with 3 days required in the company's central London office. The role offers an excellent salary, and solid experience working with a leading publishing company, where you will work amongst a friendly, supportive and talented team.
Your main remit will be to provide operational support working closely with production, stock, content and operations counterparts. Responsibilities will include (amongst others):
- Keeping systems up to date
- Handling production work
- Managing printer reports
- Raising Purchase Orders for printers
- Running the reports out of the MIS and manipulating them
- General admin. support
You will be confident using IT systems and Excel, be a fast learner with strong communication and organisation skills and possess great attention to detail. Experience of using Biblio would be useful, but not essential. A good understanding of book publishing or production workflows and systems is essential.
