Publishing Resource Manager

Calling all global educational publishing professionals! A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Publishing Resource Manager with great business acuity to join an innovative content services company that works worldwide with ELT and education publishers. This is a home-based role, with flexibility on location, and offers an initial 6 month contract with an attractive salary and excellent benefits.

The main remit of the Publishing Resource Manager is to lead the growing editorial and design teams, ensuring that all publishing projects and resource are well-managed. You will create, own and manage the end-to-end resource planning cycle incorporating proposal creation and project budgeting, resource allocation, and daily resource management across multiple teams in multiple territories. Working remotely in a fast-paced environment, this business-savvy Publishing Resource Manager will ensure the development of accurate, flexible resource plans, monitor resource capacity, develop high-performing teams, and source & manage external suppliers to enhance the company's content offerings. The Publishing Resource Manager will work in partnership with the content team when planning, allocating, and managing project resources.

The Publishing Resource Manager will ideally have experience in the global educational publishing industry (whether from an operations, supply chain, editorial, content or product-focused background, or otherwise). In addition to an in-depth knowledge of the education publishing sector, commercial savvy, market knowledge, and possessing good networks, you will be someone with proven experience in achieving publishing excellence and business growth. You will be an adaptable, self-starter and an excellent team player, and able to demonstrate accountability at all stages of the resource life-cycle, as well as flexibility and a willingness to work in a thriving, growing and ever-changing environment.
