Publishing Sales Reps

A prestigious academic publisher has two openings for Sales Reps in their central London office. These roles will sell their publications and digital products into universities in the UK and Ireland. You will manage your own territory and develop relationships with academics and department heads.

Key duties:

  • Manage sales of textbook and digital adoptions to universities in your designated territory
  • Build strong consultative relationships with lecturers and department heads
  • Manage leads and opportunities on a CRM database
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the business
  • Stay informed of new trends in the academic market

Experience / skills required:

  • Experience in academic publishing or a relevant sales rep role
  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to sell to academics
  • A team player with a collaborative working approach
  • Ability to manage your own schedule and use initiative
