We are excited to be working with a leading publisher of trade titles as they are looking to hire a new Publishing Systems Analyst for their group technology division.
Based in London 2 days a week, this person will join an already established Business Systems team who provide support for content creators, commissioners and marketers. You will be responsible for product data, ensuring accuracy in both financial and inventory systems and the trade data supply chain. You will also be helping to drive best practice use of Biblio through various training and support sessions throughout the publishing house.
Main responsibilities:
- Supporting the development of key systems for both internal and external use
- Building relationship with internal teams, focusing on publishing systems for the Trade division
- Supporting implementation of best practices within the business
- Managing and supporting testing of internal processes
- Creating documentations and training for internal processes
- Carrying out ad hoc projects around data and systems
The ideal candidate will preferably come from the publishing industry, and possess a thorough understanding of publishing data and systems (specifically Biblio) with a proficiency in excel . They will be able to work on complex projects involving multiple systems and building training programs, and communicate well with all publishing departments.
