QA Analyst

A leading Educational publisher is seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst to work across their fantastic catalogue of innovative education products. This new and exciting role spans digital, data and editorial abilities and sits in our client's modern London office, amongst the friendly and supportive digital education team.

As QA Analyst for digital products you will be responsible for assessing the quality of software developments including functionality, accuracy of data and outputs before deployment to the customer (teachers and students). You will also be involved in performing automated and manual tests to ensure the software created by developers is fit for purpose and meets agreed acceptance criteria. Other key tasks include: checking the integrity of the data and its behaviour in the platform, and finding, reporting and signing off bugs and glitches.

The QA analyst in this role will be an analytical problem solver, ideally with prior experience as a Quality Assurance Tester (or similar role) and experience of testing data sets in conjunction with new and existing application developments. Familiarity with Agile development methodology and digital educational products is desirable but not essential. Strong organisational skills will be key, along with the ability to document and troubleshoot errors. Knowledge of JIRA or similar project management tools would also be beneficial but not a must.
