Aurum is the home of narrative non-fiction within the Quarto Book Group, a leading global publisher.

We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious commissioning editor to make their mark in this newly relaunched imprint. We are looking for a strong commissioner full of ideas, with creative flair, good contacts and great taste in intelligent non-fiction. With 3-5 years’ experience, the ideal candidate will be a commercially-minded editor with a track record in acquiring and publishing successful non-fiction in areas including popular psychology and science, current affairs, history, nature, history, memoir and contemporary culture.

Reporting to the Publisher, you will be responsible for building a profitable list of approximately ten new titles a year, driving ideas forward and making projects happen.
