An interest in 2000 AD and British comic books is an advantage. You will be an excellent communicator, have meticulous attention to detail and a desire to research and learn more about our rich and unexplored catalogue of comics. Relevant experience and proficiency in InDesign or similar desktop publishing software knowledge will be an advantage.

This role is full-time, based at our Oxford headquarters though remote or hybrid working will be considered. You must be able to legally work in the UK.

  • Working closely with editorial, production, rights, marketing and sales teams to ensure all metadata is accurate and up to date
  • Budget and schedule management
  • Proofreading print-ready PDFs and inputting corrections
  • Assembling advance title information for new books and writing cover and sales copy, inputting that into our database.
  • Generating special edition and merchandise ideas
  • Manage artist, colourist, letterer and other freelance relationships, scheduling and invoicing
  • Attend weekly meetings to review book schedules and discuss any issues
  • Work with marketing to promote the book by submitting content for both print and online announcements and giving feedback where appropriate
