A leading global education publisher have a great opportunity for an Editor (Reprints) to join their friendly and supportive team on a 12 month fixed term contract. Working amongst a collaborative and diverse team the main remit of the Reprints Editor will be to manage the editorial side of the backlist publishing. This is an important function and we are looking for people with really strong organisation, communication and good project management skills. As Reprints Editor you will be confident juggling a high volume of titles and have the opportunity to ensure processes and workflows are running smoothly to guarantee the success of the backlist management. Responsibilities include:
- to manage and implement reprint corrections across all backlists
- support timely reprinting of backlist titles
- record reprint corrections across all lists, and implement them when appropriate and practical
- re-issue corrected ebooks where necessary
This is an ideal role for someone who has some publishing experience, who is looking to take a step up. Someone with a focus on process and strong communication skills as well as high quality standards will excel in this role! It might suit someone who is currently a Production Administrator, Editorial Assistant or Production Editor or working in Operations, or similar, with excellent planning skills, great attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
