Research Communications Manager, Greater China

Our client is a global scientific and academic publisher. They are now looking to hire a Research Communications Manager for their Beijing office.

In this role you will be responsible for managing a programme of author outreach to boost the profile and brand awareness of the company, products and services in line with the marketing strategy in China. You will lead the marketing strategy, reporting feedback to stakeholders and working across departments to ensure the strategy is on track. Other responsibilities of the role include coordinating the company's social media platforms and digital marketing campaigns and building strategic relationships with key figures in the field to promote the company's presence.

Our client in particular is looking for the following:

·A degree
·Knowledge of the academic/research market in China and globally
·Ideally have worked in a scientific or academic field
·A strategic, results-orientated focus to drive the business forward
·An analytical thought process for campaigns
·Solid marketing experience
·Exemplary interpersonal and negotiation skills
·A focus on maintaining a strong client/customer relationship
·Willingness to travel: regular national and international travel

A key requirement of the role is the ability to speak both English and Mandarin.
