Publishing Integrity Specialist
We have a fantastic new opportunity for a Research Integrity Specialist to join a leading European open access publisher and work in their London office. This role will work closely with internal journal teams and external researchers to provide guidance on research integrity in scholarly publishing ethical issues.
Research Integrity Specialist Key duties:
- Communicate with academics and researchers on the ethical issues related to scholarly publishing
- Provide input on ethical guidelines to authors and editors
- Ensure the journals are clear of conflicts of interest and plagiarism
- Work closely with review operations and journal development team as well as internal stakeholders to improve workflows
- Ensure journal submissions meet quality standard and criteria
- Tackle and investigate any post-publication concerns
Research Integrity Specialsit Experience / skills required:
- Experience in scholarly publishing, copyright policies and editorial policies is desirable
- An academic background in science, especially in the field of physical chemistry would be advantageous
- Solid understanding of professional ethics
- Excellent time and risk management and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
