Researcher Engagement Manager

A highly prestigious international academic publishing brand is seeking a Researcher Engagement Manager to join their thriving Marketing team in Beijing, China. Reporting to the Marketing Director, the Researcher Engagement Manager will manage a team of two direct reports to increase the engagement of academic researchers in China with published content, as well as driving papers submission to the brand's books and journals. This role will be the voice of the brand and will build on the opinion leadership position of the brand within the academic research ecosystem.

Researcher insights will be enormously valued for this role, meaning that the ideal candidate needs to really understand the requirements of academic researchers, as well as knowing how to deliver value to them within the academic publishing environment. The successful candidate will also have proven experience working with marketing tools, strategies and methodologies. Being a fast-learner and a top-level communicator, the ideal candidate will be able to handle competing priorities among various stakeholders to balance relationships both internally and externally.
