Review Operations Managers
Are you a strong leader with an operational /project management background? Due to an exciting period of expansion we are looking for several Review Operation Managers to join a leading Open Access Publisher. The Review Operation Managers will be responsible for managing their own team of journals specialists handling the peer review for their journals. These are fantastic opportunities for target-driven and strategic individuals to join a leading STM publisher at an exciting time. These are full time permanent roles that can be done completely remotely.
What you’ll be doing:
- Inspire guide a team of journal specialists to achieve assigned key objectives and performance targets/plans
- Create, implement and monitor policies and processes adhering to industry standards
- Improve team efficiency, processes and interaction with the rest of the business
- Optimise team processes, propose and define development requirements with product development teams in line with customer satisfaction goals and product success.
What you’ll have:
- Solid experience in managing editorial publishing operations and project management
- Ideally you will have experience in Academic/STM Publishing
- Line-management experience is a must with the ability to inspire and develop staff remotely
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with great relationship building capacity
- A commercial mind-set with a target-driven approach
