Rights and Contracts Data Assistant (FTC 18 months)

A leading independent publishing house is looking for a Rights and Contracts Data Assistant to join their Publishing systems team on an 18 month fixed term contract. 

The main purpose of this role is to act as the main point of contact for the Rights and Permissions teams on the loading of historic contracts and associated sub rights deals to the company’s production database (Biblio). 

The Rights and Contracts Data Assistant role would suit someone with a strong attention to detail, experience working with the Biblio Contracts Module and knack for working with systems to make an impact. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Sourcing historic head contracts and loading them to Biblio.
  • Sourcing historic sub right deal information and recording this information in Biblio.
  • Acting as a point of expertise on workflow-related issues.
  • Acting as a point of expertise to assist colleagues with helpdesk queries.
  • Documenting processes and reporting on progress of tasks as required.

You will have: 

  • Experience of Using the Biblio Contracts Module.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • A strong desire to improve data quality and working processes.

This role will be hybrid with office location in central London.

Salary: c. £28-33k depending on experience.
