Rights Executive

We have an incredible opportunity for someone looking to step up into a Rights Executive role and join the team of a London independent publisher of Fiction and non-fiction books including mind body and spirit. Our client is looking for a talented Rights candidate to sell translation rights to the Eastern European markets, including France and Brazil.

Key responsibilities of the Rights Executive:

- Sell translation rights to the allocated territories

- Negotiate agreements and draft contracts

- Attending key events and book fairs (Frankfurt, London)

- Undertake sales trips

- Maintaining the Rights database up to date, and input royalties information

The ideal candidate will be a proactive and target-driven person, with a good understanding of the Rights process. A great communicator and passion for promoting translation rights. Foreign languages will be a strong advantage, but are not essential.
