Rights Executive (East Europe)

We have an incredible opportunity for someone looking to step up into a Rights Executive role and join the team of a London independent publisher of highly illustrated non-fiction books. Our client is looking for a talented Rights candidate to sell co-edition and licenses to the Eastern European markets, including Russia, Romania, Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary, and Estonia.

Key responsibilities of the Rights Executive:

- Sell co-edition rights and license to allocated territories

- Negotiate agreements and draft contracts

- Attending key events and book fairs (Frankfurt, London)

- Undertake sales trips

- Maintaining the Rights database up to date, and input royalties information

The ideal candidate will be a proactive and target-driven person, with a good understanding of the Rights and co-editions process. Foreign languages will be a strong advantage, but are not essential.
