Rights Manager

We have a dynamic new opportunity of a Rights Manager which has arisen at a well-established independent trade publisher of highly illustrated books and co-editions. They are looking for someone to execute and support the Director with the special sales and foreign rights deals. The role will be based in the company's London office.

The role will include:

• Sourcing and building relationships with potential customers
• Compiling materials for presentations and pitching titles
• Conducting negotiation on deals and costings
• Setting out new objectives
• Building effective sales strategies
• Keeping track of sales data/reports and managing the company's database
• Attending meetings and conferences, including international events

You will ideally have experience working in foreign rights and with co-editions and/or illustrated books. Our client is looking for someone who is responsive and commercially astute with a successful sales record. Knowledge of any languages would also be desirable.
