Rights & Permissions Analyst

A leading educational publisher is looking for an experienced Rights and Permissions Analyst for their Oxford office. This is a six month contract.

 

Key duties:

  • Undertake the research, licensing, and permissioning of third-party assets
  • Work with editorial and product development colleagues to ensure products have appropriate copyright clearance
  • Oversee a network of freelance and vendor based services
  • Help develop Pearson policies on the best practice of using third-party content
  • Test and help support implementation of new systems as required

Experience / skills required:

  • Strong working copyright knowledge and experience of permissions management and / or picture research is required
  • Experience with educational publisher or equivalent is highly desired
  • Excellent project management skills and strong interpersonal and business correspondence skills
  • Database expertise—input, reporting, tracking & auditing
  • Advanced computer skills including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook,
  • Experience of Rights Management database systems would be an advantage
