Sales and Production Controller
This is an excellent opportunity for a Production Controller with excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills to join our client in Oxfordshire. You will be account managing production projects for a range of publishing companies including trade, academic, educational and novelty publishers.
Key duties:
- Oversee the smooth running of book production projects
- Manage and develop relationships with new and existing customers
- Draw up accurate specs based on customer requirements
- Raise purchase and shipping orders accurately
- Send out requests for quotations and quote out to clients
- Liaise between clients, overseas offices and suppliers to facilitate smooth running of projects
Experience / skills required:
- Must have some previous production experience in a book publishing or printing environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and consultative customer care approach
- Ability to work on your own initiative
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Good IT skills
- Excellent organisational skills
