Sales & Business Development Director

A growing print and creative service company is looking to recruit a Sales and Business Development Director to join their existing team in UK. You will lead the print and publishing team and be responsible for managing a portfolio of major UK customers. You will grow the accounts through trust and credibility combined with a strong understanding of the markets you work with. You will be working with our Far Eastern print partner, a world leading manufacturer of unique and high-quality books and paper products.

You will have a proven track record in building long term partnerships for success and will have day to day contact with customers, whilst being assisted by your team, to enable you to focus on high level negotiations. You will visit customers and present a friendly, positive and professional service at all times. You will research and follow up sales opportunities, review and implement new customer strategies across your new and established accounts, as well as attend sales meetings, book fairs and conferences (this will include international travel).

The ideal candidate will have sales and account management experience and a knowledge of the printing and/or publishing industry, ideally in complex high specification print with an interest in product development. You will be a problem solver with exceptional interpersonal and customer services skills together with the confidence to present our range of services to a variety of customers.

We are considering senior level candidates for the Director role but are open to hear from ambitious Account Manager candidates as well. This role is open to partial remote working with the office being based in Eastleigh, Hampshire.
