Sales & Customer Services Assistant

A leading independent book publisher is looking for a Sales & Customer Services Assistant to join their sales, marketing and customer services team based in Oxford. This would be a great opportunity for an enthusiastic candidate to support the Oxford team.

Key duties:

  • Work with the Customer Services Manager to process orders for digital products.
  • Assist with preparing specific sales campaigns, working alongside marketing and sales colleagues.
  • Work with the Sales Managers to prepare sales and agent commission reports.
  • Distribute key data to customers and monitor the sales team inbox. 
  • Track and analyse systems usage, and assist with preparing sales reports.

Experience / skills required:

  • Confident with MS office and using Excel.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Able to prioritise tasks effectively and work to set deadlines.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Some experience of publishing systems is desirable but not essential.
