Sales Executive

A leading international publishing house is looking for a full-time Sales Executive to work in their Oxford office. You will manage relationships with key UK specialist accounts and work with colleagues to provide an efficient service to all customers. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in a publishing sales role who would like the challenge of managing specialist key accounts and gaining new business.


Key duties:

  • Manage specialist accounts selling a list of trade and specialist titles
  • Growing relationships with existing customers and identifying opportunities for new business
  • Process orders and deal with customer queries relating to deliveries and invoices
  • Organise the mailings of samples and other promotional material
  • Provide general sales and admin support to the Sales Directors as required

Experience / skills required:

  • You must have previous sales experience, preferably in a publishing environment
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • You will have a proven ability to work to deadlines and to meet sales targets
  • Good IT and excel skills
  • You will have a demonstrable professional manner and an ability to communicate effectively with a wide range external clients and internal stakeholders
  • A self-motivated approach and the ability to work well both individually and as part of a team
  • A full clean driving licence is required
