Sales Executive

A leading publisher of performing arts books is looking for a Sales Executive to join their team in London. You will liaise with their external sales agency and look after your own house accounts. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with an interest in bookselling and theatre.

Key duties:

  • Manage designated accounts and meet sales targets
  • Present new titles to customers at regular meetings and support promotional activities 
  • Liaise with the freelance sales team and provide them with title information
  • Organise your own monthly meeting schedule and create monthly sales reports
  • Work with production colleagues on reprints, POD and e-book sales

Experience / skills required:

  • Book sales experience is essential, in either publishing or retail
  • Strong communication and presentation skills 
  • Ability to manage a varied and busy workload
  • Passion for the theatre and performing arts would be advantageous
