Sales Executive

Are you currently in a Sales Assistant role within Publishing and would like to take on more responsibilities? Take the next step up and become the Sales Executive of a fantastic publisher of Trade and Academic titles!

Our client, a leading international publishing house is looking for a full-time Sales Executive to work in their Special Interest imprints, including a wide portfolio of non-fiction books and games. The ideal candidate will have some previous Sales or Marketing experience in a publishing environment, and knowledge of building relationships with customers.

They will be responsible for :

  • Managing existing accounts, and researching new opportunities through non-traditional markets
  • Increase UK sales and achieve monthly targets
  • Sending out sales and promotional materials
  • Managing a Sales Assistant and providing ad hoc support to the Sales Director
  • Liaising with other departments including UK Distribution and Operations, Marketing and Editorial

They are looking for someone who has a personable and professional manner who can communicate with a wide range of people and who can prioritise and organise a workload efficiently. The ideal candidate will be confident using Excel and other CRM system. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in an entrepreneurial environment, and work on a unique portfolio of products raging from Fitness to Military History.
