Sales Executive (Children's and Education)

Are you a Sales Executive looking for a change?  Do you have experience managing accounts from the education, school, library, wholesaler or high street sectors?  We have a new opportunity for an enthusiastic and organised individual to join a growing independent publisher in central London.

Key duties:

  • Maximise turnover and profit across accounts in education and high street sectors
  • Present education titles at both internal and external meetings
  • Attend events, conferences and launch parties representing the publisher
  • Read and review submissions and give informed opinions at acquisition and publishing meetings
  • Provide support to the UK Children’s and Education sales team by running reports

Experience / skills required:

  • Strong commercial acumen and highly adaptive
  • Solid IT skills, especially with Excel
  • Excellent multi-tasking and prioritising skills
  • Knowledge of Biblio, Nielsen, Midas, Cognos and Vista will be an advantage
  • Proven knowledge of the UK children’s and education book market and publishing trends
