Sales Executive (12-month maternity cover)

Are you a Sales Executive who has experience working with European sales representatives?  Do you have a passion for visual arts and contemporary culture?  A global illustrated book publisher in Central London has a new opening for a Sales Executive to join their Export Sales team for a 12-month maternity contract.  

Key duties:

  • Manage key accounts in Germany, Switzerland and Belgium, including national wholesalers
  • Maintain relationships with the local sales representatives
  • Work with distribution agents and deliver sales growth
  • Distribute sales materials and handling orders to the agents

Experience / skills required:

  • Previous experience of publishing or bookselling is essential
  • Competence in a European language (ideally German) with excellent sales and presentation skills
  • Solid organisation and communication skills
  • Proven knowledge on the European book scene
