Sales Executive (Journals) - Shanghai

A renowned academic publisher is looking for someone to work within their journals sales team in Shanghai to achieving annual sales targets through sustainable and consultative account management, maintaining an awareness of the business and competitive trading environment.

Key responsibilities will include:
·Achieving annual sales targets
·Planning, scheduling and carrying out sales visits to customers
·Cultivating strong relationships with the customer base to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction is delivered
·Prepare for, attend and contribute to sales meetings and events to build brand awareness and gather relevant market intelligence
·Communicate with stakeholders and internal departments

This role is based in Shanghai with some domestic travel, so applicants must be fluent in Mandarin as well as business English. Academic publishing experience is not essential but any knowledge of academia or higher education is preferred.
