Sales Executive (part-time)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated (Inside) Sales Consultant to join a leading Educational publisher on a permanent, part-time basis: 3 days per week (21 hours). This position offers fully remote working, plus excellent salary and benefits, and career development opportunities.

Reporting to the UK HE and Vocational Field Sales Manager, the main purpose of the (Inside) Sales Consultant (Vocational publishing) is to promote products and solutions in Further Education institutions across the UK to maximize revenue and achieve agreed annual sales goals, through all channels but primarily through direct sales of new print and digital adoptions. Responsibilities include:

  • Retain and roll all existing business across the territory
  • Identify and close new business opportunities
  • Identify Vocational consortia opportunities
  • Account manage Vocational resellers and distributors
  • Enter customer contact and activity data on the CRM system

The ideal Sales Consultant (Inside Sales) will be commercially minded with excellent communication skills, and a successful track record in telesales, customer service or some experience working in a similar, relevant commercial sales environment. You must be highly motivated and well organised, with good time management and planning skills. Ideally you will have sales experience within educational or higher education publishing and/or experience of selling digital and print products. Experience of using a CRM database would be advantageous but is not essential. In return, our client offers an excellent salary and benefits package.
