Our client is a leading, international provider of library software to the professional and academic publishing market. They are looking for an experienced Sales Executive to join their European team, responsible for the UK & Ireland.
This is a software sales position focusing on developing new business across the UK and Ireland to sell library management software solutions. You will be responsible for all sales activity from lead generation to closing deals, key responsibilities will include:
-Identify new business opportunities by identifying prospects and their potential needs
-Sell products by building relationships and recommending solutions for prospects
-Achieve quarterly and annual sales objectives
-Conduct presentations and software demonstrations to key stakeholders
-Develop strategies to manage complex sales cycles and in order to close deals
-Develop a thorough knowledge of the library products, value proposition and build a knowledge of the competitor market
The ideal candidate will have proven B2B sales experience and ideally will be used to working across a large territory. Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills are essential, alongside a proven ability to build relationships with individuals at all levels. You will be highly goal orientated, motivated to succeed with a results driven, positive and proactive attitude. Any experience in working on sales projects with long term procurement processes with government would be an advantage in applying for this role.
