Sales Executive | Field based UK South East | Academic. We have another brilliant new role available for an experienced territory sales executive, covering the important UK South East territory, representing a leading academic publisher. In this role, you will develop and maintain sales of their digital collections to the academic and public libraries sector.

Working closely with the rest of the sales team and internal colleagues you will further:

  • Create and implement sales strategies for the territory.
  • Plan and attend customer meetings.
  • Represent the company at key industry events
  • Provide detailed sales reports and update CRM systems

As the local representative, you will represent the company in gaining new business development opportunities and through effective questioning and listening you will provide invaluable market feedback and intelligence.

Your understanding and experience of the academic sector will be important as will your experience of negotiating large contracts. You will be customer focussed, with a consultative approach to sales and will have the ability to absorb and maintain extensive product knowledge.

You must have demonstrable territory sales experience and the communication skills to be able to manage relationships between key stakeholders. You must have a valid driving license and a strong interest in history will be a significant advantage.
