Sales Manager

A world-renowned Educational publisher is seeking a highly motivated and well organised Sales Manager for the UK. This is a permanent, full-time role which offers home-working and a competitive salary and benefits package.

The main remit of the Sales Manager is to develop and implement a successful sales strategy and manage the high-performing sales team with a view to maximising sales for their prestigious product areas across Higher Education (HE) and Further Education (FE).

The Sales Manager will ideally have proven sales management experience either within the publishing or information industry with a thorough understanding of consultative sales. You will have exceptional interpersonal, presentation and communication skills and be able to demonstrate the ability to negotiate large institutional deals and build relationships with senior decision makers within HE and FE institutions. Experience of managing and developing sales team members is essential. Whilst an understanding of the HE and FE sectors would be advantageous.
