Sales Manager

We are looking for a Sales Manager to join a leading trade non-fiction publisher in central London.  If you are a publishing Sales Executive looking to take the next step and make an impact, this is a great opportunity to work with key retailers and drive sales of bestselling prestigious brands.

Key duties:

  • Responsible for managing relationships with key book retail accounts
  • Execute a sales plan across assigned accounts in order to deliver maximum sales
  • Build and manage strong relationships to influence sales and commercial opportunity
  • Maintain customer service standards and handle any client queries
  • Analyse and report regularly on sales figures

Experience / skills required:

  • Solid experience in trade book publishing sales
  • Experience of working with key UK book retailers
  • Excellent numeracy and analytical skills
  • First class relationship building and communication skills
  • Proven negotiation skills and the ability to influence
  • A flexible and adaptable approach
  • Experience of working with online retailers and e books extremely advantageous
