Sales Manager

We have a brilliant and brand-new role for a New Business Sales Manager to join a publishing services business at the heart of licensing media content. This is an exciting role for a candidate with a background in media or publishing, with a hunter mentality - keen to go out and build new business for the organisation. Based in the South East, commutable distance from London this role will be hybrid based 3 days a week in the office.

As a Sales Manager you will have proven experience in both prospecting for business leads, and managing a team to deliver team revenue targets - a key part of this role will also be instilling best practice and giving the existing team the tools to develop and grow their revenue as both individuals and a team. This is a client facing role, and crucial in delivering to the overall annual business revenue and the reputation of the business within the licensing sector. As well as management, you will have your own personal sales target, and with a commercial approach, will be a driver for success for the new business and wider licensing team. You will also be responsible for prospecting and managing a pipeline, coupled with managing and communicating with a broad range of both internal and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a background in sales within publishing or media, with a hunter sales mentality and a commercially minded approach. The scope for business development in this role is huge and with uncapped commission this is a brilliant opportunity for a strong sales candidate to come in and develop an existing team, as well as deliver on your own pipeline. Any experience in MMOs or licensing would be an advantage but not essential.
