Award-winning independent Childrens Book Publisher seeks a capable Sales Manager and to manage their growing Key Accounts and sales in their educational & library & Schools markets.
This is an exciting Sales Manager opportunity for someone who is passionate about childrens books as you’ll be playing a key role in the UK sales department looking after key accounts and sales in the schools, educational and library sectors.
This publisher has numerous award-winning authors and brands and as Sales Manager you’ll enjoys a wide remit in the role to help plan and implement a sales strategy for managing and developing sales for Company titles and imprints.
Reporting to the Sales Director you’ll manage all sales and marketing for your accounts from developing marketing strategies to reach readers via your wholesale and library supplier customers, to exploiting opportunities at educational exhibitions and events to promote Company titles.
Your role is to be the key contact point for knowledge of the UK educational and library market across the business, as well as liaising with your colleagues in marketing, PR, publishing and of course your colleagues in sales.
You’ll also have the opportunity to be closely involved in the publishing processes by providing input into acquisition meetings and have an ongoing dialogue with editorial colleagues to help shape product for your markets.
This is an ideal role for a very personable and commercial minded and organised individual who can bring good educational, schools or Library sales experience and is now looking for their next role in sales management.
You’ll be based at the publishers London offices with very easy access to all central tube stations and all main rail overground. There is a competitive salary and Company benefits. which will of course depend on the level of experience you bring to the role.
