A leading educational publisher is seeking a Market Development Manager to drive growth across the UK. This role sits within the area of tests and assessment which are used by professionals working within the clinical healthcare, education and psychology sectors. This is an exciting role for an ambitious and highly motivated sales professional with strong team management skills. The role is field-based with travel to the company's Oxford office as required.
The Market Development Manager will lead a team of sales consultants and maintain strong, lasting and mutually beneficial and supportive relationships with key customers in health, psychology and education in order to grow sales and market share across the UK. You will research the market to understand customer needs and competitor capabilities and work in partnership with pipeline customers. You will manage relationships at all levels with key UK customers and partners.
The ideal candidate will be a collaborative and self-motivated team player with strong people management skills. You will have proven success in a sales role, developing new business, within the health sector specifically, and experience of selling to NHS organisations at a senior level. You will be analytical with good communication skills, and confident preparing and delivering presentations to large groups of people.
