Sales Manager- Publishing- (Scandinavia)

To promote key Publishing products and solutions in Higher Education institutions in the assigned sales territory, maximizing revenue to achieve agreed annual sales goal, through direct sales of new print and digital products to institutions and academics.  To identify and contact all key lecturers in selected institutions in Scandinavia, using a needs-based selling approach, to generate adoptions.  To follow up with lecturers, ensuring that all potentially adopted titles are discussed in detail and that any objections are handled effectively. Work with bookshop accounts to promote new titles and stock an appropriate range of products.

  • Degree educated
  • Experience in a sales or marketing role within a publishing context
  • Highly motivated and well organised individual
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • One Scandinavian language advantageous
