Sales Director

We have a brilliant opportunity for an experienced publishing sales candidate to join the team of an innovative publishing services company. You will ideally have solid experience of current technology development within book and journal publishing and will be very well connected with decision makers.

The ideal candidate will have a thorough knowledge of the publishing industry, and will have proven success in promoting and selling products and services within the industry. Managing a portfolio of customers, you will work closely with publishers in order to maximise existing business in addition to promoting new sales opportunities.

In this role, you will be confident in approaching new target leads, delivering presentations and managing the full process of new deals including negotiating prices and contracts. You will also have superb critical thinking and analytical skills and will use data-driven analysis to work on forecasting, data analysis and price modelling.

First class communication and negotiation skills as well as the ability to work well with colleagues are key for this role.

This is an ideal role for a candidate who thrives in a fast paced environment, who has a passion for publishing and sales and a has customer centric mindset.
