Sales Operations Executive

An independent trade book publisher in London is looking for a Sales Operations Executive to join their friendly team.  You will have excellent organisation skills with experience in managing stock and providing sales support to the team.  This role suits a candidate who has some publishing experience and is number-savvy.

Sales Operations Executive Key duties:

  • Generate and analyse sales and inventory reports
  • Monitor stock level of front and backlist titles
  • Provide sales support and manage relationship with overseas distributors
  • Manage reprints in a timely and cost-effective manor
  • Work closely with the sales and production department

Sales Operations Executive Experience / skills required:

  • Excellent work knowledge of Excel
  • Exceptional organisation and communication skills
  • Good knowledge of the UK publishing market
  • Ability to work across departments and build good work relationship
  • An understanding of the book production process will be advantageous
