Sales Operations Manager

We are very excited to be recruiting for a highly successful and growing independent trade Publisher based in London. They are now looking to hire a Sales Operations Manager to join their extremely busy sales team. The role will report directly in to the Sales Director and work collaboratively with the sales and production teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for stock movement to retailers, managing our clients distributors, offering support to the sales team and providing correct bibliographic data whilst acting as first point of contact for internal and external staff / distributors and accounts.

Key Responsibilities include

  • Reporting across sales, distribution, stock
  • Distribution Management, authorisations from warehouse and stock availability
  • Regular communication and face to face meeting with print distributors
  • Title and Data management including, AI Checks, tracking title changes and Amazon.
  • Sales Support, (monthly sales kits and orders, presentations) and general administration tasks
  • Proof Management
  • Events and Author Sales, ensuring all stock is correct and delivered on time.

This role will suit candidates who have great time management, organisation skills and attention to detail. Who is communicative, superb at problem solving and can work with distribution and stock management. If you have some working knowledge of book publishing and understanding of biblio and onix that would be a bonus.
