Sales Representative/Account Manager

Are you passionate about selling books?

A fast-growing independent publisher is looking for a talented Sales Representative/Account Manager to sell and market their titles covering the London and the South East. This role covers both commercial and literary fiction and non-fiction lists and will focus on high street retailers, independent bookshops plus some non-trad and special sales accounts.

The main areas of responsibility include: developing and maintaining strong relationships with retailers and buyers; a lot of travel and face-to-face meetings; business development and account management with ideas and enthusiasm; meeting and exceeding sales targets and related administration within your allocated territories.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a target-driven individual interested in representing a really exciting independent publisher. The successful candidate will be educated to degree level or the equivalent with experience in a sales environment. You will be motivated and highly organised with excellent IT and communication skills. The position includes a sales related bonus scheme.
