Sales Representative (Primary Education)

A leading global educational publisher has 2 openings for home-based Sales Representatives to promote and sell their Primary Education School resources across 2 different territories: one Sales role covers Bath, Bristol, Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and North Somerset; and the second covers Wales. These are term-time only, permanent roles, working 195 days during the school year. The positions are remote / field-based, where the successful candidate will be located in the area they cover. A full driving licence is required for the roles. The company offer a competitive salary, bonus, benefits and sales car.

As a Primary Education Sales Consultant your main remit will be to partner with schools across your territory to offer a bespoke customer service through a collaborative, consultative sales approach, in order to support your customers with their selection of Primary Education products and services that will enhance teaching and learning. This is a field-based position, requiring a mix of in-school visits and virtual meetings. You will be working within the Primary Education product portfolio, expanding the customer base and finding new schools to work with. Your customers will range from teachers through to Directors within multi academy trusts, so an ability to work and present at all levels is important.

Ideally the Primary Education Sales Consultant will come with some prior sales / customer service / business development experience and possess an interest in Education. Full sales and product training is offered so knowledge / experience of the Primary Education sector is not essential but could be helpful. You should be a strong listener and have a natural ability to carry out a consultative sales meeting.
