Sales & Royalties Accountant

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Sales & Royalties Accountant to join our client, a highly reputable business publisher based in Central London.

The Sales & Royalties Accountant will ideally have a background in management accounts, however we are open to receiving applications from Royalties specialists with an interest in taking on a broader role. Key responsibilities for the Sales & Royalties Accountant will include:

Royalties
·Responsible for running the company's Vista royalty systems, adding new titles and produce royalties statements twice a year
·Input data into royalties system for non-book related revenues (produced from multiple external sales reports - see below)

Sales reporting
·Produce the monthly reporting pack from book sales reports hosted by the distributor
·Create high level reports for non-book sales data from multiple external sales reports
·Ad-hoc tasks to support the Finance Director as required

Working for an independent publisher, the successful candidate will be ambitious, and motivated to develop this role within a small finance team. This position will have scope to expand into a wider accounting role for the business.

Proven royalties experience using Vista is essential, along with strong proficiency in Excel including pivot tables, VLOOKUP and the ability to manipulate large quantities of data. Strong organisation and communication skills are key, along with a strong eye for detail. Experience in producing management accounts along with a recognised accounting qualification would be an advantage in applying for this role.
