Sales Assistant (Publishing)

Scholastic is the world’s largest publisher and distributor of children’s books, and in the UK is home to many celebrated authors and illustrators such as Philip Pullman, Dav Pilkey, Liz Pichon, Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler, and series including The Hunger Games, Horrible Histories and Dog Man.

We are looking to recruit a highly motivated individual to join our dynamic UK Trade Sales team.

You will provide key support to the Sales Department and be responsible for pulling together presentation material, compiling sales data, maintaining sales databases and co-ordinating meetings. You will also be dealing with queries over the telephone and liaising with customers.

The successful candidate must be numerate, have strong communication skills and have great attention to detail.   You will be highly organised alongside the ability to manage own workloads and be proficient in all Microsoft packages including Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
