Scientific Content Creator

We have an amazing opportunity for someone looking to get into scientific content creation and join the team of a global scientific publishing and communications company!

Based in Bath, but offering very flexible working arrangements, our client is looking to appoint a Scientific Content Creator / Editorial Assistant to support with the creation and delivery of engaging digital content. The role can be completely home-based for the right candidate, but ideally they'd like someone in the office a couple of times a month.

This role will be responsible for assisting with creation of new content across newly launched digital platforms featuring news articles, video interviews with award winning scientists, and so much more!

The Scientific Content Creator will:

• Developing and promoting scientific content across multiple media types, including video, interviews with key opinion leaders, articles and features, product reviews, infographics, and digital events
• Growing a network of partnerships and channels to deliver this content
• Working towards Editorial KPI's to plan and create an editorial & communications plan to increase membership, traffic and engagement
• Managing ad hoc editorial projects as instructed by the Editor
• Providing general admin support

This is an incredible role for a good communicator who is passionate about promoting scientific content and engaging with a global scientific community. The ideal candidate will come from a scientific background (preferably in Life Sciences or Chemistry), and be able to demonstrate a keen interest in science communication and digital content. Content creation or comms experience would be fantastic, even on a freelance basis, and some lab experience would an advantage as this role is also working on content around equipment used in a lab-based environment.
