Senior Academic Partnerships Manager

Senior Academic Partnerships Manager | Sales | Home based. We have a fantastic new role for an experienced Business Development Manager who may be looking to make their mark within online publishing in Higher Education. Our client, is the leading developer of online training courses which support academic institutions and will involve speaking with senior decision makers at universities throughout the territory.

Responsibilities will include:
Managing relationships with key decision makers in the territory
Territory wide client visits and presentations
Meeting monthly targets
Pro-actively finding and developing new business opportunities
Attending relevant conferences to promote courses to universities
Keeping accurate and up to date records via Salesforce CRM system

Reporting to the Director of Academic Partnerships, you will have proven experience as a successful Business Development Manager communicating at a senior level within Higher Education, or related markets and will have experience of supporting major customers at a senor level.
You will have first class communication skills and a real passion for education and an interest in the use of technology within education.

Your understanding of Virtual Learning Environments and knowledge of the education publishing industry is highly desirable but not essential.

You will need a full, clean driving license as this position will require regular travel across the territory with occasional visits to the London office.
