Senior Account Manager

Our client, a leading publishing services provider is seeking a Senior Account Manager for their Beijing office. Reporting to the Sales Director, this role will focus on managing key clients from the STM and Academic market in China.

Key responsibilities will include:

* Developing and managing new and existing relationships within the academic sector, keeping abreast of the market with a particular focus on institutional sales.

* Delivering customer services at a high standard, supporting institutional customers by providing analysis and handling inquiries and complaints.

* Ensuring sales targets are met, including new sales and renewal.

* Maintaining ongoing CRM records for institutional customers.

* Attending academic conferences and seminars regularly.

The successful candidate will have proven experience in an Account Management role within the professional, STM or Academic publishing sector with a good understanding of institutional and library sales. Exceptional communication skills are an absolute must, with the ability to influence, negotiate and liaise at a senior level. Excellent judgement, trustworthiness and an ability to work independently are important for this role.
