Job Profile:

We’re looking for a Senior Commissioning Editor to develop and manage picture books, novelties and brand extensions. This is a hugely exciting opportunity to work on, and help to shape a list that’s packed with popular, acclaimed and stand-out books for children.

The Role:

Reporting to the Editorial Director, this role will be responsible for commissioning picture books, developing ideas and concepts in-house and working on our series, novelty and bespoke projects.

We are looking to recruit a passionate and talented editor to continue to build our strong commercial brands, as well as to find and nurture exciting new voices and to grow our market share.

The Candidate Profile:

You will love children’s books and be excited about helping to make books that children will ask for on repeat. You will be a committed, creative individual with excellent editorial skills and a terrific eye for detail. You will have strong market awareness across the UK and internationally, with a track record of successful titles. Author and illustrator care will be a top priority for you, and you will have good industry connections.
