Senior Commissioning Editor or Editorial Director - Children's books

Our client, a highly respected children’s trade book publishing company has asked us to help in the search to find a Senior Commissioning Editor or Editorial Director for their growing Children’s list.

This is a rare opportunity for a talented children’s books editor to make a great impact with a successful and non-corporate publisher as you’ll have the opportunity to drive their children’s publishing in to new and exciting areas.

We’re looking for someone who’s motivated and commercially aware with a track record of acquiring commercial children’s books and working closely with both debut and established authors.

The company publishes fiction from YA to young readers so you’ll need to have contacts with agents and authors in the fiction genre, plus there is the opportunity to develop in new areas such as picture story books.
