Senior Contracts Executive

A major London trade publishing house, has an excellent opportunity for an organised individual with knowledge of drafting and negotiating publishing contracts to join their team as Senior Contracts Executive.

The Contracts team is an integral part of the business and is responsible for the preparation and negotiation of all publishing agreements across the company's varied lists to obtain the most favourable publishing terms and to maximise benefits for the Company. You will be primarily responsible for organising the preparation, negotiation and processing of author agreements across all divisions, and managing the reversion of rights process.

Similar experience within a publishing or related environment is essential, combined with proven negotiating skills and an in-depth knowledge of publishing practice, including drafting and negotiating contracts, copyright and subsidiary rights. Well-organised, you must also be able to deliver results, yourself and via others, whilst managing a heavy and varied workload.
